The Heaven on Earth Project
As children, our parents taught us that life is about service to others. Our father demonstrated this by starting Athletes Serving the Community (ASC)—an innovative nonprofit in Boston that united student athletes to serve the community together.
Upon moving to Santa Barbara, we followed in his footsteps. Leveraging our backgrounds in team sports and community leadership, we launched the Santa Barbara Hustlers in 2014 at the Earth Day Festival, also known as “The Heaven on Earth Project.”

Serving Santa Barbara
Our first event was the Food Bank’s annual “Fork and Cork” gala. As the Word spread the team grew. With a playful spirit and inclusive approach, hundreds of SB citizens joined forces to volunteer thousands of hours and raise millions of dollars for worthy causes—from youth education, girls empowerment, human rights, the arts, mental health, and planetary activism—all in the name of ONE Team.
